Feb. 27--SUNRISE, Fla. -- The Chicago Blackhawks moved on with their season without Patrick Kane when they faced the Florida Panthers on Thursday night at BB Center.
Kane will be sidelined for approximately 12 weeks following surgery to repair a fractured left collarbone suffered Tuesday night against the Panthers at the United Center.

After 20 minutes of play, the Hawks led 1-0 on a goal by Teuvo Teravainen.
In the nets
Corey Crawford returned to the Hawks' net after serving as Scott Darling's backup against the Panthers on Tuesday night. Roberto Luongo was in goal for Florida.
Roster report
Teuvo Teravainen was in the Hawks' lineup a day after being recalled from Rockford of the AHL. Teravainen centered for wingers Bryan Bickell and Andrew Shaw. Scratches for the Hawks were Johnny Oduya (upper body), Michal Rozsival (healthy) and Daniel Carcillo (healthy). Sitting for the Panthers were Dave Bolland, Tomas Kopecky and Jaromir Jagr.
