April 03--The Blackhawks can take the first step to reclaiming the Stanley Cup on Thursday night by clinching a playoff berth with a win over the Canucks.
The Hawks can also get in by scoring a point and doing some scoreboard watching with the Flames and Kings, but a win would assure them a spot.
To do that, they will have to overcome a Canucks team which has had their number this season. The Canucks are 2-0-0 against the Hawks this season, with the Hawks claiming a point in an overtime loss on Feb. 11.
"I guess we can look at it that way that we haven't had success against this team this year," captain Jonathan Toews said. "It's something you can throw in as motivation for tonight's game and I mean they're a well-coached team."
