Jan. 12--The Chicago Blackhawks continued their busy stretch when they faced the Minnesota Wild on Sunday night at the United Center.
The game marked the Hawks' fifth in eight nights and with four off-days looming, coach Joel Quenneville spoke of his team "leaving it all out there" against the struggling Wild. Minnesota had dropped eight of ts last 10 games entering Sunday night's contest.
In the nets
Corey Crawford returned in goal for the Hawks after sitting out their 5-2 loss to the Oilers on Friday night. Crawford was opposed by Niklas Backstrom for the Wild.

Winger Kris Versteeg missed his fifth consecutive game for the Hawks with left hand injury suffered Jan. 1 against the Capitals. Forward Joakim Nordstrom and defenseman Tim Erixon were healthy scratches. Sitting for the Wild were Marco Scandella, Jordan Schroeder and Justin Falk.
