BRIEF: Blackhawks Game Day: Crawford in goal vs. Avalanche

Jan. 07--The Chicago Blackhawks concluded a brief two-game homestand when they faced off against the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday night at the United Center.

Corey Crawford made his sixth consecutive start in goal for the Hawks, who have won three of their last four games.

In the nets

Crawford was opposed by Semyon Varlamov for the Avs.

Roster report

Winger Daniel Carcillo and defenseman Tim Erixon were healthy scratches for the Hawks. Kris Versteeg missed his second game in a row with a left hand injury. Sitting for the Avs was Zach Redmond.
