March 09--The lineup had a different look when the Chicago Blackhawks faced the New York Rangers on Sunday night at the United Center.
Winger Bryan Bickell, who has two goals since Jan. 11, was a healthy scratch for the first time this season. With the veteran out, rookie Teuvo Teravainen drew back into the lineup for the Original Six showdown.
"You want to play and do the best that you can at crucial times when the team is scratching to get points," Bickell said. (Sunday night) is a big test for the team. I've got to watch and think what I need to do better."
In the nets
Corey Crawford started his third consecutive game for the Blackhawks and was opposed by Cam Talbot for the Rangers.
Roster report
In addition to Bickell, the Hawks made forward Andrew Desjardins a healthy scratch with Daniel Carcillo getting the nod after sitting the previous five contests. Defenseman Johnny Oduya missed his sixth game in a row with an upper-body injury. The scratches for the Rangers were Tanner Glass and Matt Hunwick.
