Jan. 24--COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The five Chicago Blackhawks voted into the 2015 NHL All-Star Game didn't last long during the fantasy draft to establish the teams for Sunday's contest at Nationwide Arena.
Team Toews, captained by Jonathan Toews, ended up with three Hawks with Toews selecting teammates Corey Crawford and Brent Seabrook on Friday night.
Team Foligno, with the Hawks' Patrick Kane serving as an alternate captain to captain Nick Foligno, picked Duncan Keith in the second round. Kane announced team Foligno's eighth-round pick, former Hawks defenseman/winger Dustin Byfuglien.
All Hawks players were selected by the seventh round (Seabrook) at the draft held in Columbus. Keith was the first defenseman picked and Crawford the first goaltender.
The first overall pick was the Blue Jackets' Ryan Johansen, taken by Team Foligno.
