BRIEF: Blackhawks' Andrew Shaw finds a way to play

June 18--Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said winger Andrew Shaw came close to being a scratch for Game 6 Stanley Cup clinching victory over the Lightning because of a back injury.

Quenneville said Shaw could barely make it through one drill at the morning skate. Shaw didn't join the team at their hotel before the game and stayed for treatment at the United Center.

"I didn't know if he'd be able to play," Quenneville said. "Couldn't even move after practice. His back completely seized up on him. But I knew he'd find a way to play."
