BRIEF: Billionaire investor Jeff Greene lists in Hollywood Hills West

Dec. 08--Real estate entrepreneur Jeff Greene, whose $195-million Palazzo di Amore in Beverly Hills is the most expensive home publicly listed for sale in the U.S., also has a Hollywood Hills West mansion on the market at $9.99 million.

The renovated contemporary boasts such eye-catching amenities as a three-level home theater, a 30-foot-long nightclub-style bar and a Moroccan-style meditation room. Built in 1928, the house sits behind gates on more than two acres with a large motorcourt, a tennis court and a swimming pool with a waterfall spa.

The 10,466 square feet of interiors include a kitchen island, gym, a wine cellar, seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. There's a five-car garage, a roof-top deck and four fireplaces.

Walls of glass open to cityscape, ocean and mountain views.

Greene, who owns properties in Florida, New York and California, has a net worth of $3 billion, according to Forbes. He bought the Hollywood Hills West property in 2002 for $1.575 million, public records show.

Drew Gitlin of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties is the listing agent.
