BRIEF: Bill Clinton in town today for mayor's inauguration

May 18--Former President Bill Clinton will attend Mayor Rahm Emanuel's second inauguration ceremony Monday.

The inauguration will take place at the Chicago Theatre, where the city's 50 aldermen also will take their oath of office.

Emanuel and Clinton have a long history together.

In 1992, when Clinton was governor of Arkansas, Emanuel moved to Little Rock to work for him. Emanuel later served in senior positions in the Clinton White House during the president's two terms.

Clinton visited Chicago in June 2014 when he joined Emanuel at an early childhood learning center and helped raise money for the mayor's re-election bid.

Former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton is seeking the Democratic nomination for president.
