March 17--"Big Brother" is coming to Chicago to look for houseguests.
Those interested in living in a house with and competing against strangers without being able to leave the property for as long as three months can audition at the "Big Brother" casting call April 11 at Block 37. Me? I sometimes have a hard time standing in an elevator with acquaintances. I can't imagine living with a ton of strangers (known as houseguests on the show) and not being able to leave the property during that time. But hey, to each their own.
You must be a U.S. citizen and over the age of 21 to audition for the 17th season of "Big Brother" (that's right, 17th). Finalists will be flown out to LA for the next round of casting April 17-24 or May 15-22. The show is scheduled to begin filming some time in the summer.
Chicago-based public speaking professor Andy Herren won the $500,000 grand prize on the 15th season of "Big Brother."
