BRIEF: Belting it out from 'Men of Soul'

July 29--This latest Theater Loop Showcase is Kevin Pollack as a very commmited and convincing Joe Cocker, singing "With a Little Help From My Friends" -- as Cocker sang the Beatles song at Woodstock in 1969.

Pollack, and the performance, are from the Black Ensemble Theatre's production of "Men of Soul."

Black Ensemble spared no effort in participating in this Showcase video; also appearing are backup singers Rhonda Preston, Dawn Bless and Cherise Thomas, drums by Robert Reddrick, keyboard by Justin Dillard, guitar by Gary Baker and Mark Miller on bass.
