April 13--As the Blackhawks begin their playoff run Wednesday night against the Blues, Chicago teams are offering their support via social media.
The Bears and White Sox both tweeted pictures of the Stanley Cup at their respective fields, while noted fan Northwestern football coach Pat Fitzgerald proclaimed that "The real season begins tonight!" Bears lineman Kyle Long also chimed in with a Blackhawks video, saying he wants "to be part of something like the @NHLBlackhawks have started."
The Cubs also offered their encouragement in the form of a Jason Hammel shoot-the-puck GIF. The Blackhawks will surely make a stop at Wrigley Field should they win another Stanley Cup. The Blackhawks have brought the Cup to Wrigley, as well as U.S. Cellular, after their three recent championships.
