BRIEF: Bears waive long snapper Thomas Gafford, sign Patrick Scales

Nov. 28--The Bears changed long snappers Saturday, signing Patrick Scales and waiving Thomas Gafford.

Scales played in four games for the Baltimore Ravens in 2014, including two playoff games. He entered the NFL in 2011 as an undrafted free agent and has spent time with the Miami Dolphins, New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Gafford played in all 11 Bears games this season after signing as a free agent last offseason.
