BRIEF: Bears TE Martellus Bennett active vs. Packers

Nov. 10--Chicago Bears tight end Martellus Bennett is active for Sunday night's game against the Green Bay Packers, attempting to play through an injury to his ribs.

Bennett suffered his setback on Thursday when, according to coach Marc Trestman, he twisted awkwardly during practice. He was listed on the Bears' injury report as questionable but will play in a big game at Lambeau Field.

The six other Bears inactive against the Packers are cornerback Terrance Mitchell, linebackers Khaseem Greene, Darryl Sharpton and DeDe Lattimore, offensive lineman Eben Britton, defensive linemen David Bass and tight end Blake Annen.
