Feb. 03--John Fox will have a lot of work to do if the Bears are to get back in the good graces of Las Vegas oddsmakers. Bovada.lv have given the Bears their best shot at 40/1 odds to win Super Bowl 50, the same as two playoff teams, the Carolina Panthers and Cincinnati Bengals, and eight others.
Bovada also favors a rematch between the Seahawks and Patriots at 5/1 and 7/1 odds, respectively. The Tennessee Titans, Oakland Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars face the longest odds on most bookmakers' lists.
Around this time last year, pregame.com and footballlocks.com set 30/1 odds for the Bears to win Super Bowl 49. That was five wins and 11 losses ago.
Several sportsbooks haven't been as optimistic about next season:
Don Best Advantage: 50/1 (same as the Bills and Vikings)
Top Bet: 50/1 (Falcons and Texans)
Sportsbook.ag: 60/1 (Bills and Vikings)
Pregame.com: 60/1 (Minnesota Vikings)
FootballLocks.com: 70/1 (Bills and Browns)
VegasInsider.com: 75/1 (Bills and Browns)
Vegas.com 75/1: (Bills and Browns)
SportsInteraction.com: 40/1 (Vikings, Rams, Texans, Dolphins and Falcons)
