BRIEF: Bears elevate cornerback Jacoby Glenn, waive Terrance Mitchell

Nov. 17--The Chicago Bears elevated cornerback Jacoby Glenn to their active roster from the practice squad Tuesday and waived cornerback Terrance Mitchell.

Glenn (6-foot, 180 pounds), an undrafted rookie out of Central Florida, has spent the entire season on the practice squad. Coaches credited him with seven defensive tackles, one pass breakup and one special teams tackle during the preseason.

Mitchell, acquired in 2014 after the Cowboys waived him, beat out Tim Jennings for a spot on the 53-man roster after the preseason. But a hamstring injury sidelined him after Week 5, and he never took another snap. Coaches credited him with one defensive tackle.
