BRIEF: Bears assessing Lance Briggs', Kyle Fuller's injuries during quick turnaround

Nov. 24--The Chicago Bears continued to assess the status of linebacker Lance Briggs and cornerback Kyle Fuller on Monday afternoon as they quickly regroup for Thursday morning's game against the Detroit Lions.

Briggs (groin) and Fuller (knee) were injured in the first half of Sunday's 21-13 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and they each missed the second half. The short rest available before Thursday's game casts their availability in doubt.

"Right now, it's an ongoing situation today as we gather information," Trestman said Monday. "All I can do is leave it at that. We'll see where things are tomorrow."

Fuller downplayed the severity of the injury after the game, saying he "tweaked" his knee when it was rolled up on.

Briggs did not speak to reporters following the game. He was obviously in pain as he gingerly limped from the sideline to the locker room.
