Feb. 17--Baxter International on Tuesday declared a regular quarterly dividend of 52 cents per share payable April 1 to shareholders of record March 11.
The dividend is in line with the last three dividend payouts from the Deerfield-based medical products and pharmaceutical company.
Last year, Baxter said it returned more than $1.6 billion to shareholders through share repurchases and dividends, a 6 percent increase over 2013.
Baxter is known for its drugs that treat hemophilia and immune disorders. The company plans to spin off its pharmaceutical unit this year as a company called Baxalta.
