Dec. 11--"Bad Jews," Joshua Harmon's play originally planned to play 9 weeks last spring at Theater Wit, will close after its extended 8-month run. The 170 performances will officially come to an end on Dec. 27 at the Royal George Theatre.
Directed by artistic director Jeremy Wechsler, "Bad Jews" follows a battle royal between Jewish cousins fighting for the final word on faith, identity and their family's legacy. In the original review, Chicago Tribune theater critic Chris Jones described the show as a "smashingly venomous and cheerfully fearless comedy."
Tickets for the final performances are available at badjewschicago.com and 312-988-9000. The Royal George Theatre is located at 1641 N. Halsted St.
