BRIEF: Baby, teen missing from South Side

April 16--Police are asking for help in finding a 1-year-old baby and his 16-year-old sister who are missing from the South Side.

Tamara Silas and her 1-year-old brother, Willie Silas, were last seen about 8 a.m. Friday in the area of West 64th Street and South Hermitage Avenue, according to an alert from the Chicago Police Department.

Tamara is known to frequent the area of 60th Street and South King Drive as well as 102nd and 103rd streets near Michigan and Wentworth avenues, according to the alert.

Tamara is 5 foot tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has brown eyes, black and brown hair and a light complexion. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black polo shirt as well as pink horseshoe earrings. She also has depression, according to the alert.

The baby boy is 28 inches tall and weighs 30 pounds. He has hazel or brown eyes. He has black braids with red beads and a light complexion, according to the alert.

Willie was last seen wearing a long sleeve dark blue shirt and blue jean pants.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the baby or the girl should call the Chicago Police Department at 312-747-8274.
