BRIEF: 'Avengers' gag reel continues to be the most charming part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Sept. 29--Marvel and Disney should keep making movies, if only for the delightful gag reel that inevitably drops months after each blockbuster release. What is it about watching actors in elaborate superhero costumes mugging for the camera that is so deeply watchable?

Here is the second gag reel for "Avengers: Age of Ultron," a featured video from the "Avengers 2" DVD and digital release.

Meanwhile the next installment in the Marvel franchise, "Captain America: Civil War" readies for launch, and will allegedly reorganize the Avengers team into two opposing sides. "Civil War," takes place after a major incident that fractures the Avengers team into two groups. Leading the opposing groups are Captain America on one side and Tony Stark on the other.

Principle photography for this next big Marvel epic has wrapped, according to a tweet by producer Louis D'Esposito.

But we won't see too terribly much from the film, beyond a few early sneak peeks at D23, until the movie is released on May 6.
