Jan. 12--A 90-year-old woman was found dead, lying in a driveway outside her Roseland community home Monday morning.

Nellie Gordon, of the 9100 block of South Michigan Avenue, was pronounced dead on the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.

She was discovered outside lying on a residential driveway in the block where she lived about 8:40 a.m., according to Officer Nicole Trainor, a Chicago police spokeswoman.

The temperature at Midway Airport registered at 3 degrees at 8 a.m. and 4 degrees at 9 a.m., said National Weather Service meteorologist David Beachler.

An autopsy is slated for Tuesday.
