Oct. 25--A 39-year-old Chicago Lawn neighborhood man died early Sunday after being shot in Dolton, authorities said.
The victim, Tyrone D. Smith, of the 6200 block of South Artesian Avenue on the city's Southwest Side, was pronounced dead at 3:17 a.m. at St. Margaret Hospital in Hammond, according to the Lake County coroner's office.
Smith suffered gunshot wounds in the 14100 block of South Chicago Road in Dolton, the office said.
Dolton police refused to issue further information.
