Dec. 03--Authorities are reviewing a video that appears to show a toddler smoking marijuana as adults off camera encourage him.
"Smoke, bro," a man is heard saying as the boy, wearing only a diaper, puts what appears to be a joint to his mouth.
"Inhale it. Go (like) this," the man says, making a sucking sound with his mouth.
The child appears to draw a puff or two, then holds the joint away from him. "Let me hit that, OK?" the man says, and the video ends.
Community activist Andrew Holmes notified the media Thursday after spotting the video. Chicago police said they were looking into a complaint about it.
A spokeswoman for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services said the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force would review the video to determine when and where it was made.
