BRIEF: Evanston cops: Missing teen located

Dec. 03--Update: The teen has been located, according to a release from the Evanston Police Department.

A 14-year-old Evanston boy ran away from home Wednesday after telling people he wanted to hurt himself, police said.

Noah Feldman was in the process of being taken to a treatment facility when he went missing, according to Evanston police.

He was last seen at 4 p.m. Wednesday leaving his residence in the 2100 block of Wesley Avenue on foot.

Feldman is white, about 6 feet tall, weighing 160 pounds. He has bleached dreadlocks and was last seen wearing an orange jacket, black pants, snakeskin Converse shoes and a black backpack.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Evanston police at 847-866-5000 and ask for the juvenile detective bureau.
