Jan. 20--At least two men were wounded Monday in separate shootings on the city's Far South and West sides, said police.
The latest shooting happened about 3:30 p.m. in the city's South Deering neighborhood, said Chicago Police Department spokesman Veejay Zala.
A 58-year-old man suffered a graze wound to his forehead and was taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, said Zala, citing preliminary information.
Earlier Monday, a 35-year-old man suffered a graze wound to the torso in the city's Humboldt Park neighborhood, Zala said.
That shooting happened about 11:30 a.m. on the 3400 block of West Chicago Avenue. The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, he said.
No one was in custody for either attack, and police were investigating.
