BRIEF: Armand Marciano of Guess jeans fame sells his Beverly Hills-area estate

Oct. 13--Armand Marciano, who co-founded the denim powerhouse Guess Inc., has sold his Beverly Crest-area estate after several years on and off the market for $32.67 million.

The three-story main house, built in 2001, is designed for large-scale entertaining with such amenities as a professional screening room, a wine cellar, a game room, a gym and an elevator. The garage has parking for 11 cars.

The nearly 25,000 square feet of living space includes 10 bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms and 12 powder rooms/bathrooms.

A mosaic-tiled swimming pool, a pool/guest house, an outdoor/indoor kitchen with a pizza oven, a tennis court and pavilion, orchards and fountains complete the grounds.

Although he had priced the Mediterranean-style mansion at $63 million in 2012 and at $54.5 million two years ago, those figures included more acreage.

Jeffrey Hyland of Hilton Hyland, an affiliate of Christie's International Real Estate, was the listing agent. Denise Moreno, also with Hilton Hyland, represented the buyer.
