BRIEF: Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen will come to Chicago Theatre

Feb. 09--Newsman Anderson Cooper and late-night host Andy Cohen will take the Chicago Theatre stage this spring for a friendly talk, a representative for the tour said Monday.

"AC2: An Intimate Evening with Anderson Cooper Andy Cohen -- Deep Talk and Shallow Tales" will feature the famous pals on stage chatting on Saturday, May 16 at 8:00 p.m.

Being that Cooper is an award-winning CNN journalist who's covered Hurricane Katrina, the Iraq War and other weighty news stories, and Cohen is a Bravo channel personality who focusses on pop culture on his show "Watch What Happens Live," the conversation is likely to include a pretty diverse array of topics.

Materials for the tour say it will be "unscripted."

Tickets go on sale Friday Feb. 13 at 11:00 a.m. The Chicago Theatre is located at 175 N. State St.
