BRIEF: Amy Schumer to appear tonight at Constellation

Aug. 20--Updated: Amy Schumer will appear 7 p.m. Thursday night in a sold-out show at Constellation, the Roscoe Village music venue at 3111 N. Western Ave. -- the second surprise announcement of a stand-up act in 24 hours. Schumer will appear along with My Silence, a jazz band fronted by her half-brother Jason Stein, a double-gig the Constellation has hosted a couple times previously this summer.

The show was announced midday Thursday at constellation-chicago.com and sold out fast. Schumer is touring next week with Aziz Ansari, who on Wednesday night announced, and also quickly sold out, a three-show stand Thursday night at Zanies.
