Dec. 31--Spoiler alert: Jenny McCarthy plans to kiss her husband Donnie Wahlberg when the ball drops in Times Square at midnight.
The Chicago-area native is again co-hosting "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest" but in years past, she has kissed random people on the street to celebrate the new year. McCarthy and Wahlberg, a longtime member of New Kids on the Block, married in August 2014 in St. Charles.
"He doesn't want me to make out with strangers any more. I don't know why. But he insists on kissing me at midnight every year now," McCarthy told E!.
Though the couple have been the subject of break-up rumors for months, McCarthy said their bond is strong.
"I had no idea this level of love existed. The more and more that we let go of fears, the more we fall in love," McCarthy, 43, told People magazine. The couple recently moved to St. Charles.
"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest" airs on ABC at 7 p.m. Demi Lovato, Carrie Underwood and Wiz Khalifa, among others, are slated to perform.
