Dec. 20--Pasadena police were investigating the fatal shooting of an Altadena man late Friday.
Responding to reports of shots fired about 10:45 p.m., officers found the victim lying on the parkway in the 600 block of North Mentor Avenue.
Pasadena firefighters pronounced him dead at the scene.
The Los Angeles County coroner's office identified the victim as Robert Arthur Calderon, 27.
