Nov. 14--Chicago police issued an alert Thursday after a woman attempted to lure a girl into a vehicle on the Northwest Side.
The incident happened at 8 a.m. Monday when the girl was approached by a woman and another person in a light gray vehicle near Kimball Avenue and Ainslie Street, police said.
The woman, who was behind the wheel, tried to engaged the girl in conversation and attempted to lure her into the car but the girl fled, police said.
The woman was driving a four-door older model car, authorities said.
