BRIEF: Adrian Peterson reinstatement hearing reportedly set for Monday

Nov. 13--Adrian Peterson will meet with NFL officials on Monday to discuss whether he can resume his playing career after pleading no contest last week to misdemeanor reckless assault, according to multiple media reports.

NFL.com reports the meeting will take place via conference call.

Peterson has been on the commissioner's exempt list since Sept. 18 after being indicted on felony child abuse charges.

After the plea deal was reached for the lesser charge, the NFL Players Association filed a grievance for Peterson's immediate reinstatement while the league determines what punishment it will impose.

But the NFL has insisted on keeping Peterson off the field with pay until it finishes a review of his case under the personal conduct policy.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said Sunday on "NFL GameDay Morning" that members of the Minnesota Vikings organization are divided on when their star player should return.
