March 07--The Cubs committed two errors and were limited to five hits Sunday as the Diamondbacks rolled to an 8-3 victory before a sellout crowd of 13,151 at Salt River Fields. Tommy La Stella and Juan Perez each hit RBI doubles in the second inning.
At the plate
Dexter Fowler, who batted only .228 from the left side last season, ripped a home run off Randall Delgado in the third that traveled an estimated 442 feet.
On the mound
Frank Batista tweaked his quadriceps while trying to field a grounder in the fifth and had to leave the game.
