BRIEF: Adam Eaton, Tyler Flowers recovering well from offseason surgeries, White Sox say

Nov. 03--White Sox outfielder Adam Eaton, catchers Tyler Flowers and Rob Brantly and second baseman Micah Johnson are all recovering well from offseason surgeries and should be ready to return to their regular training modes around Dec. 1, a Sox official said Tuesday.

Eaton, who played through a painful shoulder injury, underwent a nerve decompression in the back of his left shoulder the day after the season ended. While rehabbing in Michigan, he reported that his strength is coming along well, the Sox official said.

Flowers, who said he played through knee pain for much of the year, is rehabbing after having a baker's cyst and loose piece of floating cartilage removed from his right knee.

Brantly, a Sox September call-up, had part of the meniscus removed from his left knee and is rehabbing in California. The Sox said he reported that he feels "great."

As was reported before the end of the year, Johnson had a clean-up procedure on his left knee, which was found to be structurally sound.

All are expected to be in the mix for the Sox come spring training.
