BRIEF: Adam Burish joins ex-Blackhawks contingent on Wolves

Jan. 15--The Chicago Wolves continue to get the 2010 Chicago Blackhawks' Stanley Cup championship band back together.

The AHL team announced Wednesday that it had acquried veteran forward Adam Burish via loan from the NHL's San Jose Sharks. Burish joins former Hawks teammates Brent Sopel, Colin Fraser and Ben Eager on the Wolves' roster.

The 32-year-old Burish had a goal and two assists in 20 games this season with the Sharks before being sent to AHL Worcester where the Madison, Wis,, native had four goals and three assists in 18 contests.

Burish has 27 goals and 33 assists in 378 NHL games, including 11 goals and 10 assists in three seasons with the Hawks. He made 15 postseason appearances for the 2010 Cup champion Hawks, a team that included Sopel, Fraser and Eager.
