Oct. 14--Actress Moira Kelly sold her Wilmington, N.C., home this summer for $807,500.
Built in 2004, the 4,501-square-foot house was described in the listing as combining Low Country tradition with modern up-to-date interiors. In this neck of the woods, low country can refer to a geographic area, a cuisine, a culture -- and apparently a home style.
The kitchen features cherry cabinetry, a breakfast nook, a butcher block-topped island, double ovens and granite counters. There are five bedrooms and five bathrooms.
The more than half-acre wooded site near a golf course has a fenced rear yard and a gated entrance.
Kelly, 47, has appeared in such series as "One Tree Hill" (2003-09) and "The West Wing" (1999-2000). Her film work includes "Entertaining Angels: The Dorothy Day Story" (1996) and voicing Nala in "The Lion King" movies.
