BRIEF: AC/DC's United Center show drew half the fans of Wrigley show: report

Feb. 24--AC/DC drew half the crowd for its show last week at the United Center compared to its September show at Wrigley Field, according to figures compiled by Billboard magazine.

The United Center logged 13,773 sold seats for the Feb. 17 show while 29,732 fans packed Wrigley Field on Sept. 15, Billboard found. The United Center has a capacity of 23,500 for concerts while Wrigley Field has a capacity of 42,495.

The Sept. 15 show at Wrigley Field generated more than $3 million at the box office. The United Center concert and shows in Fargo, N.D.; and St. Paul, Minn., produced $5.7 million in revenue, according to Billboard.

The Fargodome drew the largest crowd among the three venues -- 19,308 fans -- and generated $2 million in sales.

AC/DC's "Rock or Bust" tour is slated to wrap up in June in Denmark.
