March 15--Aaron Rodgers shared some of his "deep thoughts" on fireworks, yodeling and other odd subjects with Twitter followers Monday night and had a lot of people confused. But he tipped off what he was up to when he referenced Jack Handey, whose nonsensical sayings were a running bit on "Saturday Night Live."
"If u ever teach a yodeling class, the hardest thing is to keep the students from just trying to yodel right off. You see, we build to that," the Packers quarterback says in one tweet.
In another: "If you had a school for professional fireworks people, I don't think you could cover fuses in just one class. It's just too rich a subject."
Rodgers advised followers to Google "Jack Handey" if they're ever bored, tipping them off that he was trolling everyone with some of Handey's old "Deep Thoughts" quotes.
"Are you not entertained! Are you not entertained! Is this not why you are here!" Rodgers tweeted.
