June 11--You're going downtown, Charlie Brown.
"A Charlie Brown Christmas," the stage version of the family-favorite Peanuts TV special, will be performed by Emerald City Theatre Company in the Loop this winter. A spokeswoman for Broadway in Chicago announced the production on Thursday.
The adaptation is by Eric Schaeffer and it will be directed by Ernie Nolan.
The show will play the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place, 175 E. Chestnut St., Nov. 14 to Jan. 3. Tickets are not yet on sale.
