BRIEF: 6 injured in Far South Side crash involving CTA bus

Dec. 12--At least six people were injured Saturday morning in a crash involving a CTA bus on the Far South Side, officials said.

About 8 a.m., a vehicle and a bus were involved in a crash near 130th Street and Daniel Drive in the city's Eden Green neighborhood, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago police spokeswoman.

Preliminary information stated a No. 34 Michigan Avenue bus was resting at the intersection when it was rear-ended by a vehicle, said Jeff Tolman, a CTA spokesman.

According to Chicago Fire Department media information, six people were injured.

One person was taken in serious to critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. Five others were taken in fair to serious condition to Roseland Community Hospital and Metro South Medical Center, according to the Fire Department's news office.
