BRIEF: 5 Rabbit brewery rereleases anti-Trump beer in advance of primary

March 08--5 Rabbit Cerverceria really doesn't like Donald Trump's hair.

In advance of next week's Illinois presidential primary, the Bedford Park brewery said Tuesday it will release a new batch of Chinga tu Pelo, the beer christened for Trump's hair after the Republican candidate's controversial words about undocumented Mexican immigrants.

5 Rabbit initially brewed the easy-drinking golden ale for a restaurant in the Trump International Hotel and Tower but pulled the beer in June and sent it to other accounts under the new name -- which translates to a salty sentiment about Trump's hair -- after Trump said many undocumented Mexican immigrants are criminals, drug addicts and rapists.

5 Rabbit said Tuesday that a "very limited number" of 12-ounce Chinga tu Pelo bottles will be for sale Saturday at the brewery at a cost of $5 each.

"As we have said before, not only is it right, but it feels right to take a stance against racism, misogyny, bigotry and ignorance," the brewery said in an Instagram post. "We know we're small but our protest is real."

5 Rabbit will also sell a poster reading, "Bullies aren't Leaders" ($5) this weekend and free Chinga tu Pelo stickers will be available.
