BRIEF: 4 questioned in stabbing of brother, sister at Canaryville park

June 05--Four people were being questioned Friday in a stabbing at Taylor-Lauridsen Park in the Canaryville/New City neighborhood that injured a man and a woman last month, police said.

The brother and sister were approached by a group of people who started scuffling with them shortly before 3:30 a.m. May 30 in the 700 block of West 41st Street, police said.

Someone in the group pulled out a knife and stabbed the two, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a spokeswoman for the Chicago Police Department.

One of the victims was initially listed in critical condition and the other in fair condition, Sedevic said.

Police said Friday afternoon that four people were being questioned.
