BRIEF: 4 hurt after car hits pole on Northwest Side

Feb. 14--Four people were seriously injured when a car crashed into a pole early Sunday on the Northwest Side.

The car struck a pole around 5:30 a.m. near the intersection of Pulaski Road and Barry Avenue, according to Chicago Fire Department media officials.

Four people got pinned inside the car. Two people were taken Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, and two were taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, officials said. Their ages and genders were not immediately available.

All four were in serious-to-critical condition, according to officials.

No other information about the accident was immediately available.
