BRIEF: 3 wounded in stabbing near Ventura middle school

Sept. 21--Three people were stabbed Sunday afternoon near a middle school in the city of Ventura, authorities said.

Shortly after 4 p.m., the three people suffered stab wounds in a field near DeAnza Academy of Technology and the Arts in the 2000 block of Cameron Street, said Cpl. Anthony Morales of the Ventura Police Department.

All three people were taken to the hospital in unknown condition. Their ages or identities were not released. It's unknown what led to the attack.
