BRIEF: 3 South Side buildings catch fire

Feb. 04--Chicago firefighters tackled a South Side blaze involving three buildings Thursday morning in the Englewood neighborhood.

Firefighters were notified of the fire shortly before 10:30 a.m. at a building located at 6125 S. Justine St., according to Chicago Fire Department media information.

About 10:50 a.m., officials reported the blaze had spread to two adjacent buildings. The building where the fire started was vacant, but Human Services was called for displaced residents who lived in the other buildings.

As of 11 a.m., the fire had been struck out.
