Oct. 29--Five people, including three teens in Bronzeville, have been injured in shootings since Wednesday afternoon, police said.
At 3:10 a.m., a 23-year-old woman was shot in West Pullman, said Chicago police spokeswoman Officer Amina Greer.
The woman was in the 12000 block of South Perry Avenue when she was shot in the arm during a fight with her child's father, Greer said. She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, and her condition was stabilized.
At 9:25 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot multiple times in West Humboldt Park, Greer said.
He was in the 4000 block of West Thomas Street when two people got out of a vehicle and started shooting at him, Greer said. He was hit in both legs and an arm, and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
At 3:12 p.m., three teenagers were shot in Bronzeville near the intersection of East 47th Street and South Calumet Avenue, police said.
An 18-year-old man was shot in the left thigh and went to Mercy Hospital, where his condition had stabilzed.
A 16-year-old boy was shot in the right hand, right foot and both legs, Trainor said. He also went to Mercy Hospital but was later transfered to Comer Children's Hospital, where his condition had stabilized.
A 17-year-old boy was shot in the left hip and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was in good condition, Trainor said.
