BRIEF: $3 million arrest warrant issued in fatal shooting in Round Lake Beach

Nov. 10--A $3 million arrest warrant has been issued for a south suburban man in the shooting death of another man in Round Lake Beach over the weekend.

Jeremy Anderson, 36, of Chicago Heights, was last seen driving a 2000 blue Chevy Malibu four-door with the Illinois license plate V128881. Police said he "should be considered armed and dangerous."

The warrant was issued after Anthony Robinson, 31, was found with a gunshot wound around 9:15 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Idlewild Drive, according to police. Robinson was pronounced dead at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.

"The shooting was the result of a domestic incident, and a person of interest has been developed," a statement from Round Lake Beach police said. The warrant charges Anderson with first-degree murder.

Anyone with information about Anderson was asked to call their local police or Round Lake Beach police at (847) 270-9111.
