April 28--Three people were hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash in the West Woodlawn neighborhood early Thursday, police said.
About 3:20 a.m. one vehicle hit another in the 6400 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue. The car that was hit lost control and hit a hydrant, a light pole and a CTA sign, police said.
One person was taken to Stroger Hospital, and two were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. All their conditions were stabilized.
No description was available of the vehicle that hit the car.
