BRIEF: 3 hurt in domestic-related stabbing on North Side

Jan. 10--Two men and a woman were stabbed early Saturday during a domestic-related dispute between roommates in the city's Lakeview East neighborhood.

About 3:15 a.m., officers responded to a domestic-related stabbing in the 600 block of West Melrose Street. According to preliminary reports, three people began stabbing each other during an argument, said Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago police spokesman.

A 20-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach, and a 23-year-old man suffered wounds to the upper torso. Both of them were taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.

A woman, 24, was taken to Presence St. Joseph Hospital with lacerations to the hand.

All three were listed in good condition, Quaid said.

Police were investigating.
